Privacy Policy

Draft content - for legal review

This is proposed copy, not a published legal policy. The website operator and legal adviser must verify the wording and actual practices before it takes effect.

Effective date: to be confirmed after approval.

Clarity matters. This proposed notice brings the key privacy topics into one place, with the details to be verified against the website’s actual practices before publication.

01About this policy

This draft sets out the information a privacy notice for the El’bey website should explain. It covers inquiries, accounts and masterclass purchases, subject to confirmation of how the website actually operates.

It is not a statement of verified data practices. Before publication, the website operator must identify the responsible organisation, its privacy contact and the requirements that apply to the service.

02Information you provide

The Contact form asks for your name, e-mail address, inquiry topic and message, with an optional phone number. Please avoid including passwords, payment-card details or other sensitive information in your message.

The final notice should also list the information used for accounts and purchases, such as account identifiers and order records, if those features are enabled. Confirm what payment information the website receives and what is handled by payment providers.

03How information is used

Proposed purposes to verify include responding to inquiries, administering accounts, providing access to purchased masterclasses and dealing with payment or support questions. Each purpose must be matched to the information actually needed.

Before publication, document the applicable basis for each use. Any promotional messages or other optional uses should be explained separately, including the choices available to you; no marketing practice is confirmed by this draft.

04Cookies & website tools

The website’s cookies and similar tools must be audited before this section is finalised. Identify any tools used for sign-in, checkout, preferences, analytics or embedded media, together with their providers and duration.

Explain which tools are necessary, which are optional and how users can manage them. Do not publish a claim about tracking, analytics or consent controls until the actual configuration has been checked.

05Service providers & sharing

If hosting, payment, communication or learning-platform providers process personal information, the final notice should identify the relevant categories, the purpose of access and any required safeguards.

Confirm whether information is shared for other purposes or processed in another country, and explain any applicable transfer arrangements. This draft makes no claim about selling data, provider locations or international transfers.

06Retention & security

The final notice should explain how long inquiry, account and purchase information is kept, or the criteria used to decide. Retention periods must reflect actual operational needs and any applicable obligations.

Describe verified security measures at an appropriate level without promising absolute protection. The process for account closure, deletion requests and any information that must be retained should also be confirmed.

07Your choices & requests

Depending on the rules that apply, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion or other uses of your personal information. The final notice must describe the applicable rights and how to exercise them.

For now, direct privacy questions through the Contact page and avoid sending sensitive documents in your initial message. The verification process, response periods and any complaint route must be reviewed before publication.

08Updates & contact

When approved, this policy should show an effective date and explain how material changes will be communicated. Review it whenever the website’s features, providers or use of information change.

Use the Contact page for questions about this draft. The final version must include a verified privacy contact and address any age-related requirements relevant to the website’s intended audience.
